The Alhambra Lions topped the host Metro Tech Knights volleyball team by a tally of 2-0 in Thursday's league outing.

The Lions now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Fairfax for a outing on Tuesday, October 14.

With the loss, Metro Tech drops to 3-5 on the campaign. The Knights host Independence (Glendale, AZ) to confront the Patriots in a non-league game on Monday, September 29. The Patriots go into the game with a record of 2-5.
