In Thursday's league challenge, the host Taft Wildcats volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Wasco Tigers.
The Wildcats (10-8) will now prepare for their test against Delano (Delano, CA). The Tigers go into the test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Delano was edged by East Bakersfield (Bakersfield, CA), 2-1, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Taft for a test on Tuesday, October 21.
