California High School Flag Football - Steele Canyon can't hold off Grossmont

The Grossmont Foothillers got by the visiting Steele Canyon Cougars flag football team by a score of 19-13 in Thursday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Foothillers play the Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA) in a test, on Thursday, October 2. Grossmont will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record.

With the defeat, Steele Canyon drops to 7-2 on the campaign. The Cougars host Bonita Vista (Chula Vista, CA) to meet the Barons in a non-league test on Saturday, September 27. The Barons come into the test with a record of 10-0. Bonita Vista won 38-0 in their recent league test against Otay Ranch (Chula Vista, CA)
