The Troy Trojans soccer squad scored 5 points and held the host Athens Wildcats to 2 in the Trojans league victory on Thursday.
The Trojans now possess a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to Shikellamy for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 27. Troy will play a Braves squad coming off a 12-0 league win over Central Mountain (Mill Hall, PA). The Braves record now stands at 11-0.
The Wildcats (4-3) will now prepare for their game against Williamsport (Williamsport, PA). The Millionaires come into the non-league game with a 4-6 record. In their last game, Williamsport edged Mifflinburg (Mifflinburg, PA), 7-1, in a league game.
