The Bears (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Mount Anthony (Bennington, VT). The Patriots come into the SVL-A test with a 2-6 record. In their last test, Mount Anthony nipped Woodstock (Woodstock, VT), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Raiders now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Mt. Abraham for a Lake test on Saturday, September 27. Rutland will meet a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Bellows Free Academy (St. Albans, VT). The Eagles record now stands at 3-4.
