New Hartford Spartans (New Hartford, NY) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Rome Free Academy Black Knights (Rome, NY), 8-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, New Hartford moves its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to West Genesee (Camillus, NY) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league test on Saturday, October 4. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 2-0.

The Black Knights now possess a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Syracuse for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 27.
