The Miramonte Matadors (Orinda, CA) volleyball knocked off the visiting Alhambra Bulldogs (Martinez, CA), 2-0 in Thursday's league bout.
The Matadors now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Carondelet for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 27. Miramonte will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Dublin (Dublin, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 6-4.
With the loss, Alhambra drops to 4-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Ygnacio Valley (Concord, CA) to battle the Wolves in a match on Tuesday, September 30. The Wolves enter the match with a record of 0-1.
