In Thursday's league bout, the Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish (San Francisco, CA) volleyball team held off the host Archbishop Riordan Crusaders (San Francisco, CA), by a margin of 2-1.
The Fightin' Irish now possess a 15-1 record. They play next when they host Saint Francis for a bout on Tuesday, September 30. Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory will clash with a Lancers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over St. Mary's (Stockton, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 2-0.
