In Thursday's league challenge, the host Vaughn White Tigers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the East Valley Falcons.

With the win, Vaughn improves its record to 6-7 on the season. The White Tigers travel to Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences (Granada Hills, CA) to face the Vipers in a test on Monday, September 29. The Vipers go into the test with a record of 0-7.

The Falcons now own a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northridge Academy for a test on Friday, September 26. East Valley will face a Pumas squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Sherman Oaks CES (Reseda, CA). The Pumas record now stands at 6-5.
