In Thursday's league challenge, the host Southeast Guilford Falcons volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Eastern Guilford Wildcats.
The Falcons (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Asheboro (Asheboro, NC). The Blue Comets come into the test with a 13-4 record. In their last test, Asheboro went down by Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 2-1, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now sport a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southern Guilford for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 30. Eastern Guilford will face a Storm squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC). The Storm record now stands at 3-8.
