In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Highland Hornets volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the Tallmadge Blue Devils.

With the win, Highland advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Hornets travel to Barberton (Barberton, OH) to face the Magics in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 30. The Magics go into the test with a record of 0-5.

The Blue Devils now sport a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Revere for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 30. Tallmadge will play a Minutemen team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Cuyahoga Falls (Cuyahoga Falls, OH). The Minutemen record now stands at 2-1.
