In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Western Albemarle Warriors volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Louisa County Lions.
The Warriors (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA). The Black Knights enter the non-league challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Charlottesville got by Monticello (Charlottesville, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Lions meet the Patrick Henry Patriots (Ashland, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 29. Louisa County will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Hanover (Mechanicsville, VA).
