California High School Volleyball - Steele Canyon nudged by Mount Miguel

In Thursday's league challenge, the host Mount Miguel Matadors volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Steele Canyon Cougars.
The Matadors (12-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Sweetwater (National City, CA). The Red Devils come into the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Sweetwater edged High Tech Mesa (San Diego, CA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cougars meet the Christian Patriots (El Cajon, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 27. Steele Canyon will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Patriots go into the test with a 10-9 record after their 2-0 league loss to Cathedral Catholic (San Diego, CA).
