Rockbridge County Wildcats (Lexington, VA) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Staunton Storm (Staunton, VA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Wildcats (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, Turner Ashby edged Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Storm play the Buffalo Gap Bison (Swoope, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 2. Staunton will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record.
