The Academy of the Holy Cross Tartans (Kensington, MD) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host St. John's Cadets (Washington, DC), 2-0 in a league test.

With the win, The Academy of the Holy Cross improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Tartans host Elizabeth Seton (Bladensburg, MD) to face the Roadrunners in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 30. The Roadrunners go into the test with a record of 0-1.

The Cadets now own a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop O'Connell for a game on Monday, September 29. St. John's will face a Knights squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Elizabeth Seton (Bladensburg, MD). The Knights record now stands at 2-0.
