In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Bad Axe Hatchets soccer squad scored a tight 5-3 win over the Capac Chiefs.
The Hatchets (10-1) will now prepare for their outing against Genesee Christian (Burton, MI). The Soldiers come into the non-league test with a 8-6 record. In their last test, Genesee Christian edged Memphis (Memphis, MI), 1-0, in a non-league test.
The Chiefs now sport a 3-11 record. They take the field next when they host New Life Christian Academy for a non-league test on Monday, September 29.
