The Concord Spiders soccer squad scored 4 points and held the host South Rowan Raiders to 0 in the Spiders league victory on Thursday.
The Spiders now possess a 11-3 record. They play next when they travel to Salisbury for a South Piedmont 4A/5A bout on Tuesday, September 30. Concord will face a Hornets team coming off a 1-1 league Jay M. Robinson (Concord, NC). The Hornets record now stands at 9-0.
The Raiders (0-9) will now prepare for their game against East Rowan (Salisbury, NC). The Mustangs come into the South Piedmont 4A/5A game with a 7-4 record. In their last game, East Rowan by Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC), 6-0, in a league game.
