In Thursday's league outing, the visiting Ithaca Little Red soccer squad scored a tight 3-1 triumph over the Corning-Painted Post Hawks.

With the triumph, Ithaca advances its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Little Red host Johnson City (Johnson City, NY) to clash with the Wildcats in a Southern Tier Athletic Conference (STAC) test on Tuesday, September 30. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 0-5. Johnson City lost 2-1 in their recent league test against Horseheads (Horseheads, NY)

The Hawks now have a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Aquinas Institute for a non-league test on Saturday, September 27. Corning-Painted Post will clash with a Little Irish team coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Canisius (Buffalo, NY). The Little Irish record now stands at 3-7.
