Hillcrest Lutheran Academy Comets (Fergus Falls, MN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they observed their soccer squad triumph over the visiting East Grand Forks Green Wave (East Grand Forks, MN), 6-0 in a non-league bout.

The Comets now possess a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fergus Falls for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 27.

With the loss, East Grand Forks moves to 1-10 on the year. The Green wave host Crookston (Crookston, MN) to play the Pirates in a Class A Section 8 bout on Tuesday, September 30. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 2-6. Crookston won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Hibbing (Hibbing, MN)
