The East Lincoln Mustangs soccer squad scored 5 points and held the host West Iredell Warriors to 1 in the Mustangs league victory on Thursday.

The Mustangs now possess a 10-3 record. They play next when they host Foard for a Western Foothills 4A/5A bout on Tuesday, September 30. East Lincoln will play a Tigers squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Bandys (Catawba, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 4-7.

The Warriors (2-6) will now prepare for their game against Hickory (Hickory, NC). The Red Tornadoes come into the Western Foothills 4A/5A game with a 8-2 record. In their last game, Hickory edged Maiden (Maiden, NC), 2-0, in a league game.
