The Monroe Hornets soccer squad scored 10 points and held the host Edgewood Cougars to 0 in the Hornets league victory on Thursday.

The Hornets now hold a 8-3 record. They play next when they host Talawanda for a Southwestern Buckeye - Southwestern bout on Tuesday, September 30. Monroe will encounter a Brave squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Ross (Hamilton, OH). The Brave record now stands at 7-6.
