In Thursday's league outing, the visiting Holy Cross Crusaders soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Elk Lake Warriors.

The Crusaders (7-6) will now prepare for their outing against Old Forge (Old Forge, PA). The Blue Devils go into the Lackawanna - Division III test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, Old Forge was tipped by Mountain View (Kingsley, PA), 2-1, in a non-league test.

The Warriors now have a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they host Forest City for a Lackawanna - Division III test on Monday, September 29. Elk Lake will clash with a Foresters team coming off a 10-2 non-league loss to Western Wayne (Lake Ariel, PA). The Foresters record now stands at 0-8.
