St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Grants Pirates (Grants, NM), 10-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, St. Pius X moves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Sartans travel to Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM) to clash with the Huskies in a non-league test on Friday, September 26. The Huskies come into the test with a record of 5-4. Hope Christian won 4-1 in their recent league outing against Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM)

Next up, the Pirates confront the Highland Hornets (Albuquerque, NM) in a 4A District 5 outing, on Tuesday, September 30. Grants will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record. The Hornets go into the outing with a 4-9 record after their 8-0 league win over Belen (Belen, NM).
