The Olympic Trojans held off the host Harding University Rams soccer squad by a margin of 1-0 in Thursday's league bout.

The Trojans now hold a 8-4 record. They play next when they host North Rowan for a non-league bout on Monday, September 29. Olympic will play a Cavaliers squad coming off a 10-1 non-league loss to Union Academy (Monroe, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 3-9.

With the loss, Harding University moves to 2-7 on the year. The Rams travel to West Cabarrus (Concord, NC) to play the Wolverines in a Greater Metro (GMAC) 6A/7A bout on Tuesday, September 30. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 13-1. West Cabarrus won 2-1 in their recent league bout against Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC)
