Pennsylvania High School Soccer - North Pocono knocks off Honesdale

In Thursday's league outing, the visiting North Pocono Trojans soccer squad scored a tight 7-1 win over the Honesdale Hornets.

The Trojans (11-1) will now prepare for their test against Abington Heights (Clarks Summit, PA). The Comets come into the Lackawanna - Division I test with a 11-1 record. In their last test, Abington Heights edged Wallenpaupack Area (Hawley, PA), 6-1, in a league test.

The Hornets now sport a 2-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Scranton for a non-league test on Saturday, September 27. Honesdale will clash with a Invaders team coming off a 3-0 league win over Lakeland (Jermyn, PA). The Invaders record now stands at 3-7.
