North Carolina High School Soccer - Leadership Academy knocks off Phoenix Academy

September 25, 2025: High Point, NC 27265

In Thursday's league outing, the visiting Leadership Academy Falcons soccer squad scored a tight 6-0 win over the Phoenix Academy Firebirds.

The Falcons (4-4) will now prepare for their outing against Cornerstone Charter (Greensboro, NC). The Cardinals enter the Northwest Piedmont 1A/2A outing with a 4-5 record. In their last outing, Cornerstone Charter tipped Piedmont Classical (Browns Summit, NC), 9-2, in a league outing.

In their next game, the Firebirds clash with the Clover Garden School Grizzlies (Burlington, NC) in a non-league test, on Friday, September 26. Phoenix Academy will attempt to advance on its 3-6 season record. The Grizzlies come into the test with a 10-2 record after their 2-1 league win over Woods Charter (Chapel Hill, NC).
