The Topsail Pirates smashed the visiting West Brunswick Trojans soccer team by a tally of 4-0 in Thursday's league game.

Next, the Pirates face the Coastal Christian Centurions (Wilmington, NC) in a non-league game, on Monday, September 29. Topsail will attempt to advance on its 8-5 season record. The Centurions enter the game with a 11-5 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Swansboro (Swansboro, NC).

The Trojans (7-4) will now prepare for their game against New Hanover (Wilmington, NC). The Wildcats enter the Carolina Coast 6A/7A/8A challenge with a 9-2 record. In their last challenge, New Hanover nudged Ashley (Wilmington, NC), 3-1, in a league challenge.
