With the triumph, Dade County improves its record to 20-4 on the year. The Wolverines travel to Christian Heritage (Dalton, GA) to face the Lions in a 1A D-I Region 7 contest on Tuesday, September 30. The Lions enter the contest with a record of 3-15.

In their next game, the Indians battle the Gordon Central Warriors (Calhoun, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 7 match, on Tuesday, September 30. Armuchee will attempt to better on its 11-9 season record. The Warriors go into the match with a 1-20 record after their 19-0 league loss to Gordon Lee (Chickamauga, GA).
