In Thursday's non-league test, the Dale Pirates (Dale, OK) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Mangum Tigers (Mangum, OK), by a tally of 9-0.

Next, the Pirates meet the Ripley Warriors (Ripley, OK) in a non-league test, on Monday, September 29. Dale will attempt to advance on its 17-2 season record. The Warriors go into the test with a 12-8 record after their 17-0 league win over Woodland (Fairfax, OK).

With the loss, Mangum moves to 24-8 on the season.
