In Thursday's non-league match, the host Tahlequah Tigers softball team scored a tight 3-0 win over the Deer Creek Antlers.

Next, the Tigers play the Jenks Trojans (Jenks, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 26. Tahlequah will attempt to upgrade on its 26-3 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 13-13 record after their 7-5 non-league loss to Broken Bow (Broken Bow, OK).

The Antlers (7-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Hilldale (Muskogee, OK). The Hornets enter the non-league challenge with a 11-8 record. In their last challenge, Hilldale edged Locust Grove (Locust Grove, OK), 12-0, in a league challenge.
