Georgia High School Softball - Stratford Academy bounces John Milledge Academy

In Thursday's league match, the visiting Stratford Academy Eagles softball team scored a tight 8-3 win over the John Milledge Academy Trojans.
With the triumph, Stratford Academy upgrades its record to 11-9 on the year. The Eagles host Tattnall Square Academy (Macon, GA) to play the Trojans in a GIAA Class AAA & AAAA District 6 game on Tuesday, September 30. The Trojans enter the game with a record of 13-5. Tattnall Square Academy won 19-2 in their recent league game against Piedmont Academy (Monticello, GA)
The Trojans now own a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mount de Sales Academy for a GIAA Class AAA & AAAA District 6 match on Tuesday, September 30. John Milledge Academy will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 10-0 league loss to First Presbyterian Day (Macon, GA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 0-11.
