In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Little Axe Indians softball squad scored a close 3-1 triumph over the Jones Longhorns.

With the triumph, Little Axe upgrades its record to 9-6 on the year.

The Longhorns now own a 13-13 record. They play next when they travel to Dibble for a non-league game on Friday, September 26.
