The Pierce Bluejays softball squad (Pierce, NE), was routed 8-5 in Thursday's non-league contest with the visiting Logan View/Scribner-Snyder (Hooper, NE)

With the triumph, Logan View/Scribner-Snyder improves its record to 15-7 on the year. The host Arlington (Arlington, NE) to face the Eagles in a C District bout on Saturday, September 27. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 12-11. Arlington lost 15-1 in their recent league bout against Fort Calhoun (Fort Calhoun, NE)

In their next game, the Bluejays battle the Ponca Indians (Ponca, NE) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, September 25. Pierce will attempt to better on its 8-16 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 8-12 record after their 14-1 non-league loss to Wayne (Wayne, NE).
