Missouri High School Softball - North Callaway edged by Montgomery County

The North Callaway Thunderbirds softball squad (Kingdom City, MO), was edged 7-6 in Thursday's league bout with the host Montgomery County Wildcats (Montgomery City, MO)

The Wildcats (8-1) will now prepare for their bout against Palmyra (Palmyra, MO). The Panthers go into the non-league bout with a 1-6 record. In their last bout, Palmyra was nipped by Macon (Macon, MO), 21-8, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Thunderbirds battle the Harrisburg Bulldogs (Harrisburg, MO) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 27. North Callaway will attempt to improve on its 12-6 season record. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 6-2 record after their 6-5 non-league win over New Bloomfield (New Bloomfield, MO).
