The Richmond Hill Wildcats softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Valdosta Wildcats to 0 in the Wildcats league win on Thursday.

The Wildcats now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Camden County for a 6A Region 1 battle on Tuesday, September 30. Richmond Hill will encounter a Wildcats team coming off a 4-3 league win over Tift County (Tifton, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-12.

With the loss, Valdosta moves to 3-19 on the season. The Wildcats host Lanier County (Lakeland, GA) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Monday, September 29. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 14-5. Lanier County won 7-1 in their recent league test against Clinch County (Homerville, GA)
