In Thursday's league test, the Toombs County Bulldogs (Lyons, GA) softball team the visiting Vidalia Indians (Vidalia, GA), by a margin of 9-6.

The Bulldogs now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Johnson County for a non-league outing on Monday, September 29. Toombs County will encounter a Trojans team coming off a 8-4 league win over Georgia School for Innovation & Classics (Hephzibah, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 10-8.

With the loss, Vidalia drops to 14-11 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Wheeler County (Alamo, GA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 1. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 14-6.
