Virginia High School Volleyball - Alleghany over Wilson Memorial

In Thursday's league challenge, the host Alleghany Cougars volleyball team scored a 3-1 win over the Wilson Memorial Green Hornets.

With the win, Alleghany improves its record to 8-1 on the season. The Cougars travel to Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA) to face the Eagles in a non-league test on Saturday, September 27. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 4-4. Franklin County won 3-0 in their recent league test against Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA)

The Green Hornets now own a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Stuarts Draft for a Shenandoah test on Tuesday, September 30. Wilson Memorial will face a Cougars squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 4-7.
