The Florence Gophers (Florence, AZ) volleyball knocked off the host Apache Junction Prospectors (Apache Junction, AZ), 3-0 in Thursday's league bout.

The Gophers now possess a 12-9 record. They play next when they host ALA - Mesa North for a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 1.

With the loss, Apache Junction drops to 3-9 on the campaign. The Prospectors host Seton Catholic (Chandler, AZ) to battle the Sentinels in a 3A - Central match on Tuesday, September 30.
