In Thursday's league challenge, the host Pentwater Falcons volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Baldwin Panthers.

The Falcons (4-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Walkerville (Walkerville, MI). The Wildcats go into the West Michigan D test with a 1-6 record. In their last test, Walkerville was defeated by Bear Lake (Bear Lake, MI), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the Bear Lake Lakers (Bear Lake, MI) in a West Michigan D challenge, on Thursday, October 2. Baldwin will attempt to upgrade on its 1-12 season record. The Lakers come into the challenge with a 8-14 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to TCBAA (Traverse City, MI).
