The Meridian Mustangs volleyball squad (Daykin, NE), dropped 3-1 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Bruning-Davenport/Shickley Eagles (Bruning, NE)

With the victory, Bruning-Davenport/Shickley moves its record to 7-5 on the year. The Eagles host Southern (Wymore, NE) to battle the Raiders in a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 30. The Raiders enter the contest with a record of 7-12. Southern lost 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Johnson County Central (Tecumseh, NE)

Next, the Mustangs encounter the Nebraska Lutheran Knights (Waco, NE) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 30. Meridian will attempt to improve on its 8-6 season record. The Knights go into the battle with a 4-14 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Elm Creek (Elm Creek, NE).
