Illinois High School Volleyball - Conant can't hold off Wheeling

September 25, 2025: Wheeling, IL 60090

In Thursday's league match, the Wheeling Wildcats (Wheeling, IL) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Conant Cougars (Hoffman Estates, IL), by a count of 2-1.

Next up, the Wildcats battle the Leyden Eagles (Franklin Park, IL) in a non-league match, on Monday, September 29. Wheeling will attempt to move on its 12-8 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 4-11 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Fenton (Bensenville, IL).

The Cougars (6-15) will now prepare for their match against Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village, IL). The Grenadiers enter the Mid-Suburban match with a 8-10 record. In their last match, Elk Grove was tipped by Palatine (Palatine, IL), 2-0, in a league match.
