California High School Volleyball - Encina Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning

Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning Fire Wolves (Nevada City, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Encina Bulldogs (Sacramento, CA), 3-1 in a league challenge.

The Fire Wolves (5-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Sacramento Waldorf (Fair Oaks, CA). The Waves come into the Central Valley California League challenge with a 10-0 record. In their last challenge, Sacramento Waldorf beat Futures (Sacramento, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the John Adams Academy Rsvl/Lin Patriots (Roseville, CA) in a Central Valley California League challenge, on Tuesday, September 30. Encina will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 9-7 record after their 3-1 league loss to Forest Lake Christian (Auburn, CA).
