Kansas High School Volleyball - Fort Scott can't get by Girard

The Girard Trojans edged the host Fort Scott Tigers volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league game.

Next up, the Trojans face the Nevada Tigers (Nevada, MO) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 27. Girard will attempt to advance on its 17-5 season record. The Tigers go into the game with a 13-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Seneca (Seneca, MO).

With the loss, Fort Scott drops to 3-19 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Independence (Independence, KS) to play the Bulldogs in a Southeast Kansas outing on Tuesday, September 30. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a record of 8-8. Independence 0-0 in their recent non-league outing against Neodesha (Neodesha, KS)
