The Grand Island Islanders volleyball squad (Grand Island, NE), dropped 3-0 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Fremont Tigers (Fremont, NE)

With the win, Fremont improves its record to 12-7 on the season. The Tigers travel to Burke (Omaha, NE) to encounter the Bulldogs in a A District battle on Tuesday, September 30. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 5-13. Burke lost 3-1 in their recent non-league battle against Gross Catholic (Omaha, NE)

The Islanders now own a 5-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln Southeast for a A District contest on Tuesday, September 30. Grand Island will meet a Knights team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Lincoln Southwest (Lincoln, NE). The Knights record now stands at 13-7.
