The Gaston Day Spartans volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting SouthLake Christian Academy Eagles to 0 in the Spartans league triumph on Thursday.

The Spartans now possess a 12-1 record. They play next when they travel to Gaston Christian for a NCISAA Metrolina Athletic outing on Monday, September 29. Gaston Day will play a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Gaston Day (Gastonia, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 11-8.
