The Phillips Bears topped the host Hackleburg Panthers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Bears confront the Hubbertville Lions (Fayette, AL) in a non-league game, on Thursday, October 2. Phillips will attempt to better on its 1-10 season record.

With the loss, Hackleburg drops to 6-6 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Hamilton (Hamilton, AL) to play the Aggies in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 27.
