North Carolina High School Volleyball - Union Pines bounced by Harnett Central

September 25, 2025: Angier, NC 27501

Harnett Central Trojans (Angier, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Harnett Central improves its record to 15-3 on the season. The Trojans travel to West Johnston (Benson, NC) to face the Wildcats in a Carolina Pines 6A challenge on Tuesday, September 30. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 10-8. West Johnston lost 3-1 in their recent league challenge against Triton (Erwin, NC)

Next, the Vikings meet the Seaforth Hawks (Pittsboro, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 29. Union Pines will attempt to better on its 15-2 season record. The Hawks come into the outing with a 11-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Durham School of the Arts (Durham, NC).
