Whitmore Lake Trojans (Whitmore Lake, MI) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the visiting Hope Christian Academy Hawks (Westland, MI), 1-0 in a league challenge.

The Trojans (8-7) will now prepare for their game against Parkway Christian (Sterling Heights, MI). The Eagles go into the Michigan Independent - Red game with a 8-10 record. In their last game, Parkway Christian nudged Roeper (Birmingham, MI), 3-0, in a league outing.

With the loss, Hope Christian Academy drops to 0-9 on the campaign. The Hawks host Roeper (Birmingham, MI) to play the Roughriders in a Michigan Independent - Red outing on Tuesday, September 30. The Roughriders come into the outing with a record of 1-10. Roeper lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Parkway Christian (Sterling Heights, MI)
