The Jefferson Davis County Jaguars volleyball squad (Bassfield, MS), was knocked off 3-0 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Seminary Bulldogs (Seminary, MS)

The Bulldogs (11-5) will now prepare for their contest against Sacred Heart (Hattiesburg, MS). The Crusaders enter the non-league contest with a 14-7 record. In their last contest, Sacred Heart was knocked off by Petal (Petal, MS), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Jaguars battle the McLaurin Tigers (Florence, MS) in a Class 3A Region 6 battle, on Monday, September 29. Jefferson Davis County will attempt to improve on its 3-10 season record. The Tigers go into the battle with a 18-3 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Piney Woods (Piney Woods, MS).
