Sheridan Spartans (Sheridan, OR) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Kennedy Trojans (Mt. Angel, OR), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Sheridan improves its record to 3-7 on the season. The Spartans travel to Western Christian (Salem, OR) to encounter the Pioneers in a 2A Tri-River challenge on Tuesday, September 30. The Pioneers enter the challenge with a record of 7-6. Western Christian lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Delphian (Sheridan, OR)

Next, the Trojans meet the Gervais Cougars (Gervais, OR) in a 2A Tri-River challenge, on Tuesday, September 30. Kennedy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 3-2 league win over Sheridan (Sheridan, OR).
